Acknowledgment of Country and Commitment to Inclusion

Song Lab acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land we work on across the continent, in particular the Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation we are based on. 

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial and honour their Elders past, present, and future.

We want to connect with and elevate Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander voices and people, to keep learning and listening, and to gain deeper understanding of their history and cultures.

Through music and creative expression we aim to elevate the voices of historically excluded and underrepresented groups in Australia: women, the LGBTQI community, refugees, people of colour, people with disabilities and others.
